We’re just gonna keep on truckin with the grill recipes here at Chef In Jeans.  As men there isn’t much we dont like more then short skirts and steak, if only the two could be combined… like a steak skirt…

Okay really though.  How about a great simple paleo friendly recipe for skirt steak on the grill.  Yeah Danny’s got you covered.



  • 1 skirt steak
  • 1 small can of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce  (feel free to use less if you’re not a spice junky)
  • 1-3 limes worth of juice (depending on your taste)
  • 1 cup chopped cilantro
  • 3-4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • Kosher salt and fresh cracked pepper

Do Work!

  1.  Season a skirt steak with the kosher salt and fresh cracked pepper
  2. Grill the steak to med rare (you can use a broiler, cook about 4 minutes per side, 6″ under the heat) and let it sit for 10 minutes, then cut in thin 1/2″ strips.
  3. Add all other ingredients to your food processor and puree until smooth
  4. Spoon the sauce over grilled meat and enjoy with some Mexican style rice cooked with Sofrito
